| Chap 1- Arrival at Paradise A time to relax comes around a few times, there's always something to do. Except for when your on vacation, especially when on vacation with Shred and the gang, you will have one hell of a party with these guys. We still at the Sacred Isles, though. My brother hooked me up with tickects to go. I was so eager to get there, it was my first time being anywhere tropical or on a plane. I was listening to some of Buju Banton's Murderer on my GoGear when some turbulance shook me out of my trance. I took off my ear clips off looked to my right, I saw Squeek and Shred sleeping, his arm around her shoulder. "They make a good couple." I whispered to myself. I looked back to see Frizzy reading her favorite book and Synny sipping on a drink, a Samuel Adam's I think. Anyway, I saw everybody else asleep, and I put my ear clips back on, flipped through my tiny mp3 to Black-Er Bun Him then relaxed. I pried off the metal cap off my coke and took a couple of sips and breathed out a satisfied 'ah'. "Dis is dee way a coke should be, ice cold, in the glass bottle, dee pure classic." I stated. I unwrapped the rubberband from my dreds so I could lay my head back. I decided to grow dreds like my pops, but much longer. "Attention passengers," our pilot began. "We will be landing shortly, so grab your belongings and stay seated until we come to a safe landing." I got up and went over to my luggage holder and looked down to Shred. "Yo." I said. He still slept, deafened to everything by his deep sleep. I reached down and shook his shoulder. "Yo mon, you need to wake you have, we's 'bout to land." He slowly opened one eye and groaned then woke Squeek. She yawned and rubbed her eyes so she could see more clearly. "Are there yet?" she asked tiredly. I nodded and flipped open the compartment then took out a duffle bag & a skateboard. Shred looked at me questionably. "Why do you have a skateboard?" he asked curiously. "Why do you have a giant pipe wrench?" I asked in the same tone. He mouthed an 'oh' and got up to get his stuff. "Yo, everybody wake up and get your stuff, I ain't gonna be waitin' for you to get your tings, you know, I want to go head and get off." I looked out the window and saw we already landed. "Wow, dat was a very, very soft and quiet landing." I said to myself. Well at least it's more time to settle in. |
